Saint Joseph’s will be conducting weekly sessions to prepare adults for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) beginning in October and continuing through the Easter Vigil Mass when they will be invited to receive the sacraments and to participate in the full mysteries and love of the Catholic Church. Catholic adults who may have been baptized but never received any of the other sacraments of the Church, as well as those adults we may have been baptized in other Christian denominations are welcome to join us. Sessions are held bi-weekly in Bethany Hall with multi-media presentations and discussions taking place on the teachings of the Catholic church. The RCIA to be presented is designed for adults who after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God’s help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will receive the sacraments fruitfully.
